Our company has many years of engineering and production experience with assembly lines and assembly line stations that produce automotive lights along with incoming processes such as injection molding, metallization, and coating. The team has experience in housing, reflector, lens press, leak, electrical testing, and aim operations. We currently provide electrical design, PLC programming, robot programming, camera integration, and HMI programming. We have been involved in numerous new model launches primarily for Ford products over the last 20 years. We provide PC-Based testing modules for current decay of incandescent bulbs, BLIS (Blind Spot Information System), AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting Systems), and dynamic 2D barcode printing. We are experts at integrating traceability and error-proofing systems for Lighting Assembly Lines. We are experts in integrating Rockware as an MES for Lighting Assembly Lines, Molding, Metallization, and Coating. As lighting has become more complex over the years, we have continually created new products and algorithms as needed by our customers.
We have extensive engineering and production experience with processes linked to Automotive interiors such as injection molding, sound deadening material creation, vacuum forming, paint, and polyurethane application. We have worked with Rockware Corp. to create software systems including traceability and error-proofing to interface and interlink each of these processes. We have done many electrical and controls projects regarding these processes and have successfully completed some high-end experimental projects like integrating a thermal camera to provide on-time preventative maintenance and recording results into a relational database.
Retrofit projects come in all different shapes and sizes. We have vast experience in modify existing assembly stations and cells to run new parts and products. We usually work with a mechanical/tooling company and have prospered whether we are directing instructions to the mechanical/tooling company or we are receiving instructions from a mechanical/tooling company. Our knowledge of shop floor manufacturing and pit falls that need to be overcome is priceless when ensuring the revised equipment is capable of being operated by the worst-case operator and maintained by on-staff personnel. In these types of projects, the technical support we provide include electrical design, PLC programming, HMI programming, Robot programming, Camera and device programming, along with electrical/mechanical install of electrical control devices. We are at our best when we are the project manager of these projects since we are the ones ultimately responsible to make it run in the end.
