Founded by Brothers Chris and Ryan Ray in 2005, Team Ray Tech is an engineering firm that provides world class automation design and integration for manufacturing. Chris and Ryan both have degrees in Chemical Engineering and have worked in multiple manufacturing facilities prior to opening their own company. The real-world experience gained from this have helped them live up to the billing of Chemical Engineers being ‘Universal Engineers’ because of the broad scientific and technical landscape they have had to master. This background is what separates Team Ray Technologies from many other technical service providers. Team Ray engineers are heavily involved in the many technical areas process design & commissioning including 3D mechanical design, electrical design, PLC programming, HMI/SCADA programming, robot programming, camera/advanced sensor integration, injection molding, process engineering, software programming, and overall project management.
As the industry began focusing more on electrical controls design and integration along with database driven software development between 2003 and 2005 the Brothers determined these areas could be the cornerstone of a successful technology based business. The business grew as customers realized the value of having Team Ray connected to their mission critical processes. In 2011 Rockware Corp. was incorporated as a separate entity to focus on the development of business intelligence software and related products and services. Since 2011 both companies work on their independent projects along with jointly developing the RockboxTM line of proprietary IOT solutions relating to industrial data collection, serialization, traceability and product testing. Today Team Ray primarily specializes in engineering and integration for Tier 1 and Tier 2 Automotive suppliers. Team Ray is the primary integrator for all Rockware® IMM™ and Rockware® CIT™ related products. Team Ray also provides CONSULTING SERVICES for implementing new technologies, removing manufacturing constraints, and optimize manufacturing efficiency and performance.
